Summoner Character

I know we wear space suit but i am curious tho if we will get a face reveal of the summoner himself or herself. I always have crazy theories of who the summoner is which would make an awesome storytelling btw lol but i am curious if Gabe every thought of revealing to us who might be under the helmet??

The character is in a helmet and suit so as to prevent any controversial issues regarding race/gender/ ethnicity etc., and it will probably remain that way.

Whatever look kabam might pick will get shot at by some background of players and kabam doesn't need to get into all that complications especially if it can be avoided.

The game has players from all backgrounds and by keeping the character in a space suit the actual identity is left onto the player's imagination.

You make a valid point but players who play this game shouldn't nor should judge appearances of a digital character regardless. We play this game to have fun and collect Marvel Champions

I'm not sure about that. Several times in the dialogue, characters have spoken as if we are the one who is fighting. "Woah, you pack a real punch", etc. So do we possess a champion and use them to fight or do we somehow shapeshift and duplicate a character's powers and abilities?

Agreed but all players will not look at the character in that way.

Some or the other player will take offense and come to the forums, reviving their long dormant, just to say why the character looks so and so. I am not so and so, make the character more like me or else I'll leave the game.

It’s not so much about avoiding offending anybody as it is providing a blank slate for the player (or in other media, viewer/reader) to project themselves onto. It’s a fairly common storytelling technique. Make the main character just wholly non-descript so that it could be anybody. You’re anybody. You could be the main character in this world.

Same reason why you never speak in old Pokémon and Zelda games, for example.
