Game Crashing

I just read above announcement by kabam mods and it seems to imply that game crashing is due to third party apps. Whereas I have been facing them for weeks if not months if I play for more than an hour especially arenas but I don't use or understand how third party apps work. Is it only me facing these crashing without using third apps?
