Is Angela's awakened ability useless against passive dmg?

Would her ability work against Rising Sun node?
Rising Sun - Land a hit (any hit other than a heavy attack), you get a +2.5% damage fury per hit, when you reach 10 of these furies, you'll get a passive degeneration. Doing a heavy attack removes all fury.

For example, nick fury’s bleed debuffs would have reduced duration.
However, mojo’s passive degen, or the rising sun node degen, wouldn’t.
Additionally, fatigue, concussion and all the other debuffs that don’t deal damage, are not reduced either.

So no. She doesn't prevent any passive damage.
However rising sun applies passive degenerations which aren’t targeted by Angela’s sig as mentioned.
This totally makes her nothing special. I'm sad to have wasted my sig stones.
She is nothing special for my roster, many champs reduce or shrug debuffs.
Moleman, Nick Fury, CapIW, Kingpin
Namor can even dmg back if I stay aggresive enough.
Hit monkey can shrug off debuffs too.
She's nothing special for a decently advanced roster.
My alliance does a great job of analyzing champs and I just ask them when I'm in doubt about something. I posted here because everyone's enjoying their Sunday.
My r5 moleman disagrees, he's just a versatile champ and yes with the right synergies he's unstoppable. Guardian for block proficiency, Nick Fury, CAIW.
I didn't even mention my r3 invisible woman who negates a lot of debuff damage with her shield.
But yes probably you're right, Angela has something unique but it needs a high sig to be effective.
Not to mention she obliterates most cosmic cavEQs
