They gave 7 grace days, and now the Notification pops up when you complete 10. At this point, it's User Error.
At that point you could be knee deep into a quest and forget it exists. For some reason there's no notifaction after the inital one which is still very bad design.
Please don't justify this man, it's bad design plain and simple.
Around Day 70 or so, it should be pretty hard to forget.
Trust me bro, it's still easy to forget unless you are absolutely desperate for the rewards.
No more than forgetting to log on. If you're barely interested in it, then what's the point of complaining the design sucks? If you don't want the Rewards, then what's the point?
Because 700 units along with the other rewards are helpful, the way to it isn't really that good but at the end of the day, it's free. It's just a shame that it had to suffer thanks to bad design.
Logging onto the game is a lot simpler because it's more of an instinct at this point, I've known its existence far longer than this event. You can still remember the event, it's just sometimes you forget to claim the glassed thanks to no notification past the initial completion. Kabam is basically putting a carrot on a stick and holding it over an icy road.
It's literally one click a day, presuming you're actually playing. Not that dire.
One click that you can easily forget.
7 times is on you.
Why?
Is it so hard to understand that over a period of 98 days, something that is designed different from everything else can be missed.
It's not like we're saying we didn't complete the 10 fights, we did. It's the collection of the glasses.
We even explained the reason - Why everything else has a numerical notification and this one does not? Why? Answer me this logically, why did they design this notification different from every other objective completion notification?
After the first time or two of forgetting, you're going to remember if it's that important to you.
Love how you completely ignored the question there.
I didn't ignore the question at all. Collecting the glasses is a part of it. *click, click* Not that hard to grasp.
My point is they gave a week of grace time to accommodate for people missing it. Forgetting 7 times is User Error. One, two, even three perhaps. 7 times is just not caring enough to do it.
It really wouldn't be if the event was designed better.

If the objective system was intentionally designed in a way completely different from any other objectives as "a part of the event", that reeks shadiness and is what is frustrating for so many people. That means Kabam set it up this way to inconvience players, hope that some players forget to claim them and then buy their passes.
Yes. It's so shady that you have to click a button once a day. Dear God.
You very well know that I am not referring to that. No one is. I'm asking why these objectives specifically have no notification compared to other objectives. People do tons of fights every day and many auto-fight quests. It's easy to forget to claim your objective especially among all the crashing that's been happening lately.
All this combined with the unecessary complications and the drawn out nature of the event adds to the frustration of the players. An event isn't supposed to make players incredibly frustrated, especially when last year was just a calendar for which you only have to open the game.
I love how he can’t just accept that the lack of a little ‘1’ notification on the objective icon (presumably because of a bug) is a problem regardless of whether it’s a persons fault or not for forgetting 7+ times.

Again.
I know there are other priorities, but this would at least have been... something?
