Level Up Event Missing? [MERGED THREADS]

I assumed the OP was speaking to the communication issues over a long time with this game that really seem to be getting much worse for a while lately. There are so many issues that we bring up on here that are completely ignored for weeks or months if ever addressed at all. Then there are the changes or problems that occur that they don't tell us about or provide info on sometimes not even after we discover them ourselves and ask about them. The amount of times the mods throw out something related to, "we are aware of our issues and will work to improve communication and transparency in the future" are too many to recall at this point and I believe the OP's viewpoint (or at least mine) is that they have failed to follow through on that.

IMO if you have expiring catalysts just go ahead and use it, whether you’ve to level up and then use the cats or only ranking up. If someone is just content hitting the 4th milestone and saves extra leveling up for next event it’s different. At the end of the day catalysts are better compared to the 25 units, l1 revive and few supreme solo crystals.

Of course if they are expiring you should use them. The point is that people were planning around using them based on how the events should have been occurring and that has failed to happen. That is why people are irritated and the response from Kabam has been a joke. We get a message that it is coming today and it didn't and then we get a response that it is happening the way it is supposed to and thanks for understanding with zero explanation of why this is happening or how it is expected to function going forward for us to actually be able to understand it. These are the things (on top of so many other issues lately) that are getting people upset.

The point they're making is you don't absolutely have to wait. Yes, it's late. It's broken. Fair points. To wait to the point of expiring Items for the sake of what you get from Level-Up makes no sense.

Their HQ is on the west coast of North America, so midnight in ~70 minutes. If I’m doing my math right, 8 AM UK time.

I for one am going to bed. Hoped the event would show up as I was going to level up my NF as my 2nd R3, but no such luck. Did level up Anti-venom enough to complete the objective and sold my ISO expiring in the next 12 hours. Hope to wake up to a level up event in the AM.

You shouldn't tell people how to play their game.

They can play it however they like. They can also accept the consequences of playing that way when something comes up that makes it detrimental.

It's been 13 long hours since hero use event ended and level up event still not showing up !!

I don't know if anyone else was but I was definitely not suggesting letting anything expire. That was my entire point, we had to use catalysts and iso that was expiring before the event might now wind up appearing because it didn't appear when it should have which would have enabled us to use those items before they expired and have the leveling count towards the event.

Trying to play to optimize the value of your actions is generally a pretty well accepted strategy. It's why most people always said selling champs was a shortsighted move. The fact that Kabam seemingly changed things again with no notice or explanation is the issue.

By the time this event lands, a whole day's worth of mission objective currency will have been lost.

... That's 25 units, an L1 revive, an L4 heal, gold, sig stones, t5b frags, t2a frags.

Gone.

That's all additional pain added to ISO expiring. Hope Kabam bear that in mind.

Agreed. I think we should get both level up and arena fights at the same time. If they just press resume on the schedule like nothing happened and we just miss out on a whole event, that sucks hard.
