Fueled by a discussion here https://forums.playcontestofchampions.com/en/discussion/comment/1951851#Comment_1951851 about Miles' spider camo, I decided to do some tests and the results were interesting. Videos from YouTubers show Miles getting hit by unlockable specials when they should all miss. The ones I saw were against the Collector who plays fast and loose with AAR so I decided to use sinister because of his 100% concussion on sp2 to see if AAR actually affects his spider camo.
The result of my tests shows that if you parry before lunching sp2, the combination of pacify from parry-stun and Sinister's sp2 concussion will prevent spider camo from activating 100% of the time. I did the fight 3 times just to be sure

- As you can see here, without parry stun, his spider camo activated despite the concussion. Also, contrary to what some people said, its effectiveness is not affected by AAR. My attacks missed while concussion was active which means that both the spider camo activation and the miss chance are tied.
Sinister was the only viable option in my roster for testing this. I have AA but my Miles is only an r1 4* so he kept dying before I could get to a bar of power.
I don't run assassins masteries and have maxed pacify.
