Symbiote or Symbioid?

I thought it was the Summoned Symbioid? That's what the description says. Why is he named Summoned Symbiote then?

The old Steve was called symbioid, not sure why they renamed it to symbiote

It was a venom infected symbioid at first (if you pay attention in act 4, they develop from the Adaptoids), so I'd chalk it up to it getting connected to Knull directly, becoming a true Symbiote.
A Symbioid is a weaker Symbiote

Yes. But the Symbioids aren't truly connected to Knull. They're just "leftover's" from Venom.
The Symbiote we have is connected to Knull
