Desktop version has the rows for Notifications / Moderation / Discussions / Comments / Inbox, etc. as a separate column over to the right side from the list of threads.

And at very top of screen (row of icons on upper right) would be the Settings icon (Preferences - Change My Pic would be within that settings icon).

Might actually have to do it from a desktop or tablet (instead of from phone even if trying to force it as “desktop” version) ?

It works one mobile stil in desktop mode full site go in to yours preference then all down below there is a how to change yours photo
