Is there a reason why on the aq map crystals we getting 2 different map 5 crystals?

    Although Title of post (AQ Comp) is not on point, their question is correct.
    I have verified we have been getting 2 different MAP-5 Crystals as well, since probably when AQ was last updated, or even before.

    Have opened all of both sets of MAP 5 crystals several times in past numerous weeks, only for 2 different sets (in Crystals pages) to come back during next AQ.

    So potentially coming from a day's Map-5 Exploration reward being a different crystal from the overall Series rewards Map-5 crystals, or something. But only Map-5 ones have 2 different sets of them, not Maps 4/6/7 crystals.

    Valid question. One wonders if the crystals have different “vintages.” It would be great to get a response on this.

    Still happening (2 different buckets of MAP-5 Crystals)…

    Tested from scratch (no Map crystals in inventory).

    Claimed those from daily Map-5 Exploration (just Map-5), and from end-of-series AQ rewards (combo of Map-5 and Map-6 crystals).
    As well as an AQ Compensation weekly package (combo of Map 5/6/7 crystals).

    Daily AQ Map-5 explore crystals gets grouped together with AQ Series reward Map-5 crystals.

    But AQ Compensation Map-5 crystal gets it's own separate crystal entry bucket in inventory from the other Map-5 ones.

    Does not happen with Map-6 crystals (AQ Series ones get lumped correctly together with those Map-6 from Compensation).
