To celebrate the holidays, and make it merrier for someone, me and @Dominic518 have organized a competition to thank the community for what they have done for us.
2) Submission must not be plagiarized and must be original.
3) Must be MCOC related.
a) 10 marks will be given for one "Awesome" reaction.
b) 5 marks will be given for one "Insightful" reaction.
c) 2 marks will be given for one "Agree" reaction.
d) 20 marks will be given by us based on 1) Fun factor, 2) Interestingness and 3) How well written it is.

“I woke up on a rock. In a spacesuit. Floating around in space. This would freak anybody out, as it did me. I got up and looked around, fortunately for me, there were a lot of other asteroids floating around me. On them were a varied number of things, some glowing different colors and looking rather squishy, other looking more like crystals, and generally big enough to house a person in them.
Because I didn’t really want to touch them, I walked carefully. However, eventually I tripped and fell face first into a somewhat small ish looking crystal. It began to spin rapidly, and then broke into a million pieces. The thing that emerged from it was rather unexpected, it was Wolverine! He seems to be as surprised about the place as I was, and began punching and slashing things in frustration. One of these was another crystal, which did a similar thing to wolverine’s and made a Spider-Man.
My newfound group began to travel across the asteroids. Somewhere along the line, Wolverine tripped and fell into some of the squishy looking stuff, he said it made him feel more powerful but neither me nor spidery wanted to try it out. We came upon a couple of people arguing, one was and old guy with a gold and black outfit, the other was some blue dude with a green spacesuit thing. The old guy introduced himself to me and my group as the Collector, and the green guy as Kang. He welcomed us to his ‘contest of champions’ or something, and told us to follow him. (During this time, Kang seemed to be plotting something.)
As we journeyed and the Collector explained this world, we came up on some sort of arena looking place. Out of it stepped Captain America and Iron Man! As they were welcoming us, Iron Man suddenly went stiff, almost like he was being mind controlled, and shouted something stupid like ‘I submit to the contest.’ Kang was laughing so I figured he was doing it.
We were told that we had to beat Kang if we wanted to get Iron Man back on our side, and through a series of quests, we managed I do just that. Thanos showed up a bit before we beat Kang and offered his help, but we didn’t use it.
After we beat Kang, Thanos got hungry for power. He tried to obtain it by throwing a bunch of stupid (but very dangerous) looking people at us, but we somehow managed to beat them. Eventually we beat Thanos as well.
During my journeys, I was given a number of crystals, and from those got a number of allies. It turns out that I was allowed to have a maximum of four people with me on my journeys, and I got a good group of friends. They were, Iron Man (he says he fought a Thanos who had some stones), a guy named Ikarus (he has cool laser eyes), Spider-Man in a black suit (people keep calling him night monkey and then laughing), and Hercules (he’s an awesome guy).
To make a long story short, we found out that collector isn’t actually in charge of the contest, and that a hulk with a beard is instead, and then we beat that hulk. (It sounds less impressive than it is when out that way.)
So those are my journeys as of this point. I’m sure I’ll go on more soon, but for now, I’m going to take a rest. If you want a more detailed story on the fight with that hulk with a beard, I can give you that, but my hands hurt from typing on this slightly less than legally obtained computer (got it from a grey hulk in a suit, looks like he might run the mafia or something).”

My favorite memory of playing this game came after my daughter was born nearly two years ago, just a couple weeks before the pandemic started. She had such a hard time sleeping for the first few months that my wife and I had to take 3 hour shifts to sleep while the other took care of an unusually difficult baby. I became so sleep deprived, I would take naps in the supply closet at work on my breaks. The lack of sleep mixed with the uncertainty of what Covid was bringing created a near unbearable amount of stress.
During those months, I would be awake in the wee hours of the night while my wee little girl slept on me. I played MCOC to help keep my sanity. MCOC helped get me through one of the toughest struggles of my life.
And it seemed MCOC new I was struggling. The month that my daughter was born, I pulled 5* Nick Fury, Quake, Ghost, Wasp, and Namor, and I spent the next few months practicing Ghost and Quake while my daughter slept on me.

Fast Forward 7 Years later and I get my first phone. I immediately go to the App Store to check which games I should download and since I had only played on Consoles throughout that 7 years I didn’t know which games came out. Being the Big Marvel Fan I am I typed in Marvel Games and looked at what popped up. Marvel Contest of Champions. I immediately went on to download it and started to play it.
I started playing around halfway through the Storm Pyramid X and Sorcerer Supreme Event. I did some of the objectives for the Special Ultimate Crystal and opened it up. Got 4* Symbiote Supreme who I immediately fell in love with. I then went on to check the Solo Events Tab and see the Feelin Green Event and at the end it awarded a free 4* Crystal which contained Green Champions. Once I had completed what was necessary to get the crystal I immediately went to open it. But at this point in the game I didn’t have any clue about who was good and to be honest I didn’t think characters mattered because I thought the only difference was appearance and animations. I was hoping for Annihilus and luckily I got him. After I finished that I started Story Content.
I wanted to see guides and tips to see how I should start where I fell upon Seatin’s Channel. In one of his videos he stated that beginners should try and beat Act 4 as soon as possible. So I took that advice and ran with it and within four days I was able to Complete Act 4. I went back to explore Acts 1-3 (Still haven’t explored Act 4) and got pretty strong. Then I stopped playing it for a little as I wanted to try other games and eventually I went back to MCoC. Now ready to start Act 5 I took everything fairly easily without having to use much resources until I hit 5.2.4.
The Average Player tends to have difficulty with this Quest but for some reason this Quest hated me. I went to one of the easier paths and was immediately Ambushed by a YellowJacket and I hate fighting YellowJacket. I backed out and tried a different path. This Quest Roadblocked me for at least 2 months. During those 2 months I had gotten a couple of 5*s such as Hulk, Emma, and Blade. Hulk wasn’t of use to me so I Leveled up Blade and Emma who I heard were pretty good and they proved to be. I easily went through the Quest with them and made my way to the Collector. And I should’ve Mentioned this before but during this time Doom was in the Basic Arena and I heard he was good by many and not knowing how much he would go for I put up 2 Million points in the Arena for him both Times and luckily got him Both Times. (I know people will judge me for selling Champions but I never Sold Doom because of how I obtained him). So now I’m at the Collector and Doom and Emma made that fight so easy I took him down using only 1 Team Revive in the Process. The Rest of Act 5 was simple as I had a pretty strong team.
Seeing that the gifting Event was Starting soon I made an Alternate Account to gift myself Revives and stuff for Act 6. From Act 5 I was fortunate enough to Pull Ghost and I had earned and some other champions so my team was now Ghost, Medusa, Nebula, and 2 free character slots for any champion that would do better. The Day before Gifting I wanted to see how much I could push into Act 6 without using the Gifting Method and made it to 6.1.5 Crossbones. Once I got the Revives and Energy I plowed through him and made my way to Sentinel. I used Ghost for Sentinel and Became Cavalier and Celebrated. Then I took a Huge Break from Story Content.
Months later, now having a really strong team I started 6.2 and had a little trouble with Sinister but I used Ghost for him it was a Quick fight. (Note that Ghost is actually a VERY Great Option for this fight). I eventually Made my way to The Champion. Usually this fight is difficult and tough to beat but I had a lot of practice thanks to my favorite little Side Quest called The Convention Clash. Every fight in this SQ was Easy to me until Nameless Thanos. My incentive for this was to get that Profile Picture. Nameless Thanos took me like 3 hours to beat after Restarting multiple times with a 5* Rank 3 HulkBuster. I eventually got lucky and took him down to 10% First Life. After that I faced A Nerfed Version of the Champion from 6.2.6. I used my 5*Rank 2 Symbiote Supreme and got him down to his last phase after resetting multiple times. This practice helped me so much as I was able to beat the Champion after only a couple resets. I only used a Single Revive during the attempt which I beat him.
The I hit another Roadblock in 6.3.1 Medusa as I didn’t have good bleeders that were high level. Took me months to beat her but I did. After beating her I breezed through Act 6.3 and most of 6.4. I made my way to the Grandmaster. A lot was going on throughout this time. Summer of Pain was near its end and I had beaten every boss except for Mysterio due to lack of counter and so I was guranteed to get enough T5CC to Rank 3 a 6* (Kingpin) but all I needed for ThroneBreaker was to beat the Grandmaster. I watched Brian Grant’s Colossus Solo which I HIGHLY Recommend for people who want an easy fight and was feeling ready. And watching those Videos paid off as I was able to take him down using only Colossus in a couple of Revives. I became ThroneBreaker and the Rest is History

Excited, I took these bois for a test run in a side quest. They did not disappoint. Reaching the boss I was confused to find a Magneto as the boss with nodes that precluded anyone else on my team as a viable option.
I decided to play my weaker hand first and entered the fight with Weapon X vs Magneto. He had some crazy energise and I blindly pushed him to his SP3.
Then to my surprise his SP3 wasn’t the usual animation. Magneto stripped Weapon X of his adamantium, like in the comics, instant K.O. Cool Easter Egg I thought, as I prepared for round 2 with my Professor X.
Round 2 went a lot better than round 1 and this time it was I who reached the SP3 in short time. And again, the animation was different, this time Professor X went into Magneto’s head and scrambled his mind.
Feeling like this was a little too unusual I came to the forums to see if this had been documented before and found nothing. So I logged back into the game to see if I could replicate the Easter Eggs and take video footage, only to find that the side quest had gone and been replaced with an Onslaught boss rush.
And then I woke up.
My first pull was a one star spider man. I also pulled a one star wolverine right after spidey. With these two champs I started my progression in the story. I decided to name myself Jerry123459 because my name is Jerry and I am very creative. My first two star pull was a drax, the best champion in the game. Or that’s what it felt like when I pulled him. It was only once I pulled a 3 star Archangel I realized he was not as good. Me and my crew finished act 1 and continued through to act 2.
Once I finished Act two, I opened my first ever four star from a phc. The amount of excitement in me from seeing that gold border was not tangible. It was a groot who I immediately took to r1 level 10. Me and groot (and AA because I liked him) finished act two and was halfway through act 3 when I opened my second four star! It was a sentry! I loved sentry and thought he was going to be overpowered. But the shock I felt when he was not doing much better in fights than groot was also not tangible.(it should be said that I had no idea to actually play with these champs. I was only doing four hit combos as well because I didn’t know you could do medium attacks. )
I eventually finished act 3 and got two more four stars, gwenpool and moon knight. This was around when there was the gamma store for some event forgot which one. I decided to r2 gwenpool and eventually r3 her. I wanted to finish act 4 for some rewards in the gamma store. The venom boss almost made me quit but I was eventually able to beat him. When I finally faced the maestro, i just went in with no strategy and got wrecked. I watched some YouTube videos and was eventually able to beat him in around 6 revives. Gwenpool and AA carried me through him.
In December for the anniversary event I decided to grind out to get my first five star. After several days of grinding I finally got enough shards. I decided to let my friend open it for good luck and ended up with a mysterio! I also got shards from ggcs from alliance mates. I also got a six star from the ggc! It was a green goblin who is still at level 1. At the end of December I had four five stars, awakened blade, awakened green goblin, mysterio and x23.
Fast forward a couple months and I reached the collector. He fell at the hands of my four star Corvus in around 3 or four revives. I was finally uncollected! Energized by this I quickly ran to become cavalier. After one more month I finally faced down the sentinel boss. Me and my trusty team of magneto, sorcerer supreme, capiw, guardian, and nova bested the dumb robot and I became cav!
After I became cav I joined a gold alliance and that’s where I’ve been since then, only play seq and eq because of the bugs.
and hit him a few times it was over,i couldnt believe that i beat him without cheesing him.After that i gave him the much deserverd rank 4.Now that act 5 was cleared it was time to get into act 6 and at the start i was afraid that i didnt have my trusty symbiote fodder but believing in my boy Vtd i pushed on.Not gonna lie i was on a roll with rng that day only getting fury and regen buffs so the whole ordeal was quite easy but after 4 bosses defeated and 200 units burned through it was time for the roadblock that people call Crossbones.I brought out my old pal nebula for the immunity but for the love of god i couldnt do enough damage with her so i called in the big guns.With my 10 fury Vtd i was chipping how much i could and then quitting.After 5 l2 revives crossbones was down,i knew that after one more quest i would finally become cavalier.So with 300 units lighter i menaged to beat Sentinel.Couldnt believe how much work Vtd put out even tho he had 0 immunities and just sheer damaged and survivability.I owe everything to that one 5* featured that blessed me with this champion.
TL;DR: Dont duck with Venom the duck.
I was walking around a desolate place when I saw a man who called himself the “Collecter” told me that I was the fabled “Summoner” who would be the one who summons champions to fight and appease a force. Then I met with “Kang the Conqueror” who wanted to destroy me to win the “Contest of Champions” and claim a mystical thing he seemed like a bully bringing champions to fight and yet hiding in the shadows all the time. That was until I beat every last champ he put and found him, it was the easiest fight of my life as I realised he was just a ugly face who couldn’t do anything. I repeated the process until I had to fight “Thanos” himself at first I was scared since I had seen all the avengers movies and knew what he could do. It took me some nerves to work up but I defeated “The Mad Titian” himself after that I got transported to an entire new realm (an alt) where I was shocked to discover that the world had simply repeated itself and afterwards I saw HIM the “Maestro” he called me out and I destroyed him from then the “Collector” tried to make me stay his pawn with his buffness but I destroyed him and I kept getting teleported to different realms some were for a title some didn’t need energy some helped me summon more champs and after that I did my final push on the realm I started in defeating all the bosses till the 7.3 “Kang”(he is annoying) and then my account got shafted into darkness and as I tried to regain conscience I couldn’t reach that realm again no matter how hard I tried so now I was stuck on an account that didn’t beat Kang 20 times yet or even whack the “Collector”'s immortal body and there is only a flicker of hope shrouded in darkness but the light shines bright on my champs faces telling me to fight and win the GGCs which i doubt but i gave it my best shot anyway .
