Yes, you can recieve gifts even if you aren’t able to give them

Actually U cannot recieve gifts. There was an entire discussion about that and it would just be a waste of the giver’s units. U can’t participate at all so u cannot receive anything

This is wrong. You can receive gifts without badge.

You understand what it means to "gift" right? Anyone can receive a gift during the event. Only those who meet the restrictions can send gifts. I've sent at least 10 GGCs to my alt account that's level 30.

Could not actually do a search for this person in game to see profile. Apocalypse cluttered with too many other profiles and not even pulling them up with full “102” in name. So can’t confirm what Progression (Act-4) they are.

As for @Cap45 and @Vinsmoke (from another thread) saying you can not even RECEIVE a gift. Where has that been proven to be the case ?? Think the OP here is probably just saying that without the ability to SEND something, nobody would want to send anything to them because they could not reciprocate a trade.
They CAN still RECEIVE a gift, if someone is willing to send a gift to them.

I was in a discussion where the OP claimed to receive one but could not claim it. Support confirmed they were not able to, and they were petitioning for the sender to get their Units back. It may be a thing.

I have gifted to 2 of my alt accounts level 28 and level 29 to help them level up.

Both accounts received all the gifts I sent.

That customer service rep is wrong unless there is some bug allowing gifts to go through for some people.

I know you’re probably just providing the reference (so thanks), and of course there has never been instances where responses from 1st level Support have been inaccurate or partially true.

I have seen another thread where OP had received the MailMsg with item in it, claimed the item, but then didn’t actually see the item anywhere in his inventory.
Which is probably some other problem (maybe isolated or seldom happening), and not an across the board inability of any non-qualifying accounts to receive gifts.

Obviously there is bugs inside where some below 40 can claim but some can’t. This is not an individual case that I saw since event launched. The extract is someone who can’t open the GGC and he sought help from Kabam support. That’s it. I hope there is official clarification or otherwise this confusion continues.

Obviously there is a case that some one below level 40 can open it but some can’t. That’s the fact. Also, some sought help via standard procedure and got Kabam support reply. That’s also the fact. Yes you can say CS may misinterpret the rules and I don’t think it is uncommon. It won’t change the fact that some ppl still can’t open even GGC. Demonzfyre’s stuff I think nothing worth to discuss.
