I feel like they're bigger .. different in feel and stature LOL
I mean I know there's no difference in design but my brain has convinced itself that there's a difference when I bring a 6 star champ into the game versus the 5 star version or 4 star etc lol. I play more confidently .. it's really so ridiculous but my mind has literally played a trick on me to where I for real feel like there's a difference. It has nothing to do with the stat differences of course ... I'm talking about just how I feel when using a 6 star champ ... I feel like they're just more intimidating lol

That's the deal with me as I get hit A LOT!
If you are talking about using them anywhere outside Act 7 then you are both (slightly) right as well as dead wrong.
1- You are (slightly right) in the sense that
a) all opponents have a "challenge rating" associated with them, which is (I believe) hidden for the player to see but it does affect the stats. when you open the stat section on your champ sheet you can see it says something like " % based against a champ with challenger rating of 100" or sumthin's like that. Well, there is a chance that those stats get lowered down further if you are fighting an AI opponent that is 6* R5 with your R5 5* Doom as opposed to a R2 6* Doom. Would this difference in stat percentage make any real difference in the real world? That is just anybody's guess.
b) It's well known than a R2 6* will always have higher health and damage than the same champ at R5 5*. That is an objective fact. Again, is the difference big enough to to warrant feeling its considerably more powerful? Well, that is probably subjective.
2- You are (slightly) dead wrong in the sense that:
a) Although health and damage are always higher on a R2, other stats such as critical rating, armor and block proficiency also vary between a same champ on its R2 6* &* vs R5 5*. I varies depending on the champ but these stats tend to favor the R5. For example, if I look at my R5 5* Moleman sheet it says it has 628 armor (23.9 %), whilst my R2 one has 525 (20.8 %). Does this matter that much in actuality? Again, that is anyone's guess.
b) However, there is one objective stat difference that, depending on the champ and the opponent/node, favor greatly an R5 over an R2, and it's the combat power rate.. FYI, for each rank a champ has he gains 5% combat power rate, which means that a R5 5* Tigra, Terrax or Ghost have 15% more combat power rate than its R2 counterpart. I put Tigra, Ghost and Terrax as an example because these are two champs whose playstyle not only benefits, but pretty much NEEDS as much combat power rate they can get. For Ghost, Terrax and Tigra, the quicker/faster you can build up/maintain your power the easier it is to pull off their signature playstyle... so there is a case to favor a R5 over a R2 on champs like these. The same applies to whichever fight/node combination that favors building power as quickly as you possibly can.
So it's that your are crazy or plain cuckoo. It's just that you happen to be both right and wrong at the same time. Hope that helps to sink you further in your dilemma lol 😂 😝 🤣.
Meanwhile if I use 5*, they feel quite inferior, and when I select champs for map,
when I'm choosing 5*, (more so I have both 5* and 6* version of that champ), I don't really want to bring that 5* into the quest. Damned crystal blue frame, champ looks 5x more handsome in it
