About 2 years back it used to be skill & knowledge, but now anyone who says anything other than cash is either dillusional or just trying to deny reality for some reason The fight that one probably won't be able to get done with cash only is the 6.2 champion but someone who's gonna spend so much on the game will definitely have some basic level of skills as well even if being zero in MCOC knowledge If the question would be progression with enjoyment then the answer would be skill + knowledge, at least fr me, but since it's solely progression based, the answer is definitely cash
The only time that spending actually becomes a relevant metric is when trying to directly compete with the highest level players and alliances. But really there's zero need to compare yourself to other players. Your progress is neither increased nor facilitated in any way by doing so. And yet people seem to be doing more of that than anything else.
Used to be the case until 6* r4s came out. You know f2p players that are skilled and have vast knowledge aren’t even touching alliances that spend crazy amounts on resources.
Cash is king but if Lady Luck is not on your side, you will get bad pulls and get crit at the wrong time(or keep getting rank 3 awakened Hyperion in arena matchups!)
Seems like most people haven't understood the question very well & they're replying to it with a combination of options available So let's consider a hypothetical situation Take 2 players Give 1 of them all the skills possible that we see from players like Swedeah or MSD or like Mvinceable used to have back in those days..... basically as much skill as is humanly possible, combined with top alliance leaders & officers level knowledge of the game, but no spending other than buying the sigil every month Give lots of cash to the other one....like the amounts that COW used to spend on his openings or the biggest whales spend these days, but with only average level of skills & noobish knowledge Give them both a year with same number of hours they can play each day After a year compare both accounts to see which one has progressed more U will get to know which one is MORE important than the other as far as ONLY progression is concerned
I don't even see the need to explain myself after gifting.how many contents give good rewards for doing em?do we even have these so called big contents to do for some serious rewards other than just st buying em?look at the rewards for Abyss, act 7.cmoon
Luck and skill are equally important IMO… sure skill will carry you in the majority if not all of the game…. But without certain champs some fights are nearly impossible unless you drop tons of units
