Why would anyone whale for featured Cavs or featured bundles with “rebalancing”

I feel like Kabam it’s really going to hurt themselves with the amount of people spending on featured calves and things like the $50 featured bundle with this rebalancing.

Why in the world would some of these whales drop thousands of dollars trying to get a certain champ that in six months will probably be rebalanced. It’s not worth the risk of the rebalance possibly nerfing the champ. I mean there’s always a possibility that The rebalance could help the champ but I can’t imagine whales wailing out on a new champ that needed to be rebalanced for the better? I just think it’s enough of a risk spending thousands of dollars trying to acquire a champ when you’re not guaranteed to get that champ much less now when you figure in even if you do get that champ that looks great that there’s a chance that he is nerfed in six months?

With everything going on with Kabam why they insist on spending so much time on things that nobody asks for I just cannot understand? No real new game Contin no real new game modes still massive bugs but yet they insist on working on things that the community for the most part will respond negatively to.

I love this game and it can be so amazing. I just don’t understand this one and have a feeling that they could end up not only negatively impacting the community but also hurting themselves financially.

    Two things:

    1 — Most likely champs will be released under-powered rather than OP. So rebalancing will more likely lead to an improvement.

    2 — If you are doubtful then wait until the rebalancing happens and decide whether to buy crystals.

    I don’t disagree with this but doesn’t this go in line with what I was stating that Whales will probably be buying a lot less crystals because of this especially initially when the champion comes out which is normally win the most hype for a champion is.

    As usual Kabam is completely tone deaf and determined to push the envelope by offering even less value with their new and unimproved featured Cav crystal lotteries.
