remember two years ago? All the top alliances called for a spending boycott and made it what, 10 days max?

The only boycott that ever worked was 12.0 and it really wasn't a boycott, just enough negative feedback to make them pay attention. No other boycott has worked ever and the game is still running as strong as it's ever been.
There was a boycott back in the day where we were sent a tier 1 alpha. Rare rank up materials at the time.

I mean this one wasn't a boycott but there was a lot of backlash against Hood's initial changes and it worked.

I still have no idea why they stood still with Guillotine even with the backlash as they arguably did worse things with her than Hood.

Okay, this post is gonna get disagree spammed but here we go.

Lately I've seen all these people saying that Kabam is killing the game, MCOC is dying due to their ignorance, etc. you name it.

Before I get into the gist of this, let me say that: Criticising Kabam is PERFECTLY FINE. In fact, I encourage it. They won't learn or make decisions we're happy with unless we criticise them.

But ill be honest. I'm getting sick and tired of every announcement that isn't received 100% perfect, having people just say over and over "Kabam ignoring us again, smh, they killing the game, we're all screwed". I can't be the only one getting annoyed by that, right?

This game will have bad decisions made, kabam will do stupid things, it happens. But they HAVE listened in the past, and they DO work hard, and this game still has lots of potential and good things going for it. Criticise all you want, but ill be honest, the constant "this game is dead" is really starting to tick me off. You think its dead? Leave, no one's making you stay here.

Just my thoughts, I know im in a minority here, and i apologise if i come off like a little sh*t. But i just had to say it, its really starting to annoy me seeing this all the time

Been said basically anytime they do anything for at least 4 or 5 years now, yet here we still all are.
ya the posts never change no matter what happens, been identical since the old forum

I think it is a natural reaction to their own fading interest.

However I can't say these conclusions are completely unreasoned, look at the game: parry and dex are weird, immunities are not working for some and unwanted inputs are a thing, and so is lag even on high end devices.

These problems stacked really bad over the last year and when I have already reached the stage where I actually fear playing, bcs it is a crashlag fiesta that ruins my mood pretty consistently, I can't blame anyone of thinking the game is going down. The amount of issues present now is too high.

I believe the implementation of their new system will solve some of those problems and other fixes will follow soon, because as it is now, the game is in a tough spot

Don't want this game to stop running.. But it is not in a very good condition tbh. Recruiting has becoming very tough nowadays ( and that i am saying cause i am running 2 alliances as leader for almost 2 years) cause most people wants stress free environment where u don't have to move on aq every time everyday or take the humongous burden of the infamous aw. Retired and semi retired players have increased many fold in the past 3 4 months.

The game isn’t dead it’s just so boring. Only thing keeping me slightly interested is being close to TB but I don’t even care if I get it.

It's the real world example of the Black Knight from Monty Python.
Get back here, I’ll bite your legs off! You coward!

The people claiming the game is not dying have as much inside information as the people claiming the game is dying. Without being part of the high level admin team, I doubt anyone has any credible information.
People are just speculating based on what they perceive and how they feel. Each side can have their own opinions without the people from the other side chewing their heads off. If you enjoy playing the game, keep on playing and spending. If you don’t find an interest in playing, take a break. It’s after all just a game.

Kabam just needs replayable content (solo competitive) and the game will basically never end. But it needs to be good in order for that to happen. Like really good

Game is not dying as the Marvel IP and game's legacy is strong , it has loyal player base.

However Kabam needs to start doing more for Players and not anger them at every opportunity why do something like that annocement after a abysmal period in the game, they could have done that after major issues are resolved and fan favs buffs are done.

    What an absolutely terrible take.

Awesome post! Everyone does what they want, so when someone isn't liking the game, they can leave...Kabam isn't forcing anyone to play.

Personally I've felt a bit overwhelmed by the whole game during this last few months so slowed down a lot on the amount of time I play, which was a lot.

I never spent anything here, and even through this, I still love the game and want to continue playing and interacting with the community. Right now, I'm less scared of the future changes to the game and more about the community acting irracionally.

    Great post.

Change is an enemy of rational thought.

Kabam's been right, they've been wrong. Or, they've been wrong and they've been just sorta right because you don't want to admit it.

The same can be said about the community.

Let's all take a deep breath here.
