CapIW vs MrNegative AW passive damage

Im thinking I know why this happens but not sure if it’s a bug or not. Capiw takes passive damage from MrNegative for each hit while he has kinetic potential. This is because it nullifies unstoppable I’m guessing. But it does it even if MrNegative doesn’t have an unstoppable buff, so should it still trigger, because he’s not nullifying in that case.
