Battlegrounds roster building question.

Admittedly haven’t done a ton of research on this but had a couple questions about roster building I have a pretty extensive roster. But obviously many of my 6*s are not duped. Or if they are, are not at a high Sig.

Champions that are considered good defenders and ones that benefit from a higher signature. Is it going to better to bring in a five star with a very high signature or a rank 2 6* that maybe is not duped or if Duped is only at Sig 20?

So basically should I focus on getting my 6*s to rank 2 whether they are duped or not or get my five stars that are duped and can take up to a high signature level to rank five?

And are you going to be able to bring in multiple of the same champion just different star level? Like a 6star in five star of the same champion and would that be smart?

I'll do my best to answer here. Firstly, you cannot bring in multiple star levels of the same champion, period. At least that's how it worked in the Beta.

There is content in this game that is really starting to push 6 Star champs. Sig stones will come, awakening gems will come. I probably wouldn't invest in a 5 star version of a character I have as a 6 star unless sig 200 is critical to their kit (Namor, etc.)

5 stars though are still incredibly usable, particularly when they benefit from higher sig. So it is not a waste to invest in them just now that at some point you will fully transition to your 6 star roster.

As for the meta of the game mode, I think it will be a little bit less present than other PvP type games. Yes, the top 1% will absolutely have a strict Meta as those people pretty much have all the champs. And this Meta will be very closely tied to the rotating nodes that are in place.

The rest of us, we don't have every champ, and if there is any sense of balance between the rewards for this game mode compared to the others, we will only be able to dedicate resources towards ranking up x number of characters for it. Especially since the nodes changes and that will have a huge affect on who is good for the game mode.

I’d say it depends on the champion to an extent as well. If you wanted to bring Korg in, for example, you’d be better off with a 5/65 sig200 than an unawakened or low sig 6* R3.
