Can we please get 6* Quake

Quake is a favorite champ for a lot of players. With new champions being added that far exceed older champions and larger health pools, it is entirely reasonable that 6* Quake be released as a playable champion for players. She already exists as a defender, so not much work (at least I think) needs to be done to make this happen. Kabam has been doing extremely well over the past few months taking a pro-player position that most people have been extremely grateful for. Adding 6* Quake as a playable character would only continue that trend. Thank you in advance for taking this comment into consideration.

Maybe once R5s have been out for a while and there’s no content for her to be useable in.

Quake is finally just beginning to not be so powerful, because she’s a 5* and 6* rank 4s are coming. Each new rank phases her out a little bit. Not enough to make her useless of course, she can still wreck in war, but each fight that gets longer means less people use her.

Releasing her as a 6* would defeat all of that, bring back true focus/strike/evade counter meta and ruin my Mr Negative- I mean ruin all evade champs just to counter Quake.

I think what kabam are doing is perfect, release a 6* quake when we have 7* rank 4s. Until then, keep her out the game IMO.

I agree quake probably breaks the most nodes and cheeses the most fights because I used her to complete most of act 6 itemless and got through the gauntlet with little to no troubles aside from sore thumbs but quake is in a tricky spot. Kitty and ghost still cheese and although not to the same degree as quake they've been put as 6*. The way I see it is 6* quake would only make fights faster. She can do everything she needs to as a 5* so really there isn't a need for the 6* aside from saving your time. Only way I see her coming as a 6* is if kabam decided to do champion bans for story and event content in the future which I honestly don't see as a bad thing as controversial as that sounds. Would change the whole 1 champ beats all mentality that we seem to approach most content with

Champ bans for solo content would be the final nail in the coffin and the game would be dead

Though I can see where you're coming from I think once a champion reaches a point where they cheese as much as quake that the game is already practically dead. I've been able to clear content way out of my league at the time of completion with quake and at that point the game was dead to me because it was just quake not MCOC

In all fairness, OG Thor and Joe fixit have been in the 6* basic pool forever but not in the 5* pool, so it is possible 🤣

I don’t think the other champions named here break the game in quite the same way Quake does. Ghost is relatively easy to counter via nodes that don’t have a dramatic impact on a wide swath of other champs. Slap an armor break on the fight and she’s out of it.

Kitty, similarly, can be countered. If the fight has a cowardice mechanic, she’ll lose all her prowess. No prowess means no phasing and no damage. Done deal.

While Quake can be shut down by nodes like true strike, that knocks on to a lot of other, non-broken champions. Plus there are now champions (like Spidey2099) who benefit from true strike being active.

Her kit is probably the reason these other champions have relatively niche escape valves built into their kits so the devs can hit the switch when they don’t want them to be the obvious stomp option for a fight. And that is good and healthy! Unless the player base gets real cool with Kabam tinkering with existing champions (lol) to put an escape valve in Quake’s kit, she’s gotta stay as a 5* for the foreseeable future.

If we wait long enough, maybe she can be considered a Relic.
