Perplexing Paragon Promotion Problem

A few days ago I completed my last Carina’s Challenges (V2) and it gave me the t6b and t3a I needed to r4 my third 6* champion. However, I am cripplingly indecisive and need opinions.

Currently I have the t5cc on hand to rank either a science or a mystic champion. I have a bit more than 3/4 of a second skill t5cc, and I am about halfway to my second mutant t5cc. I am not considering tech or cosmic, as I already have Nimrod and Knull at r4.

I don’t know what impact delaying my rankup will have on EoP objective availability, so I don’t know how long I can safely wait to try to accrue additional t5cc for skill and mutant. Currently my top contenders from all four classes are Doom, Spidey2099, Kitty Pryde, and Jabari Panther (or Nick Fury). I will attach roster pictures for those four classes below as well. All input is welcome and appreciated!

I am right there with you on being perplexed. 99.99% of me wanted to be hopefully the first to R4 Jabari Panther. But I went with Herc because I needed the prestige if I ever want to get back into a top 45 AQ. I am so mad at myself and wrought with regret.

Is he? I have a 5* but I don't use those at all anymore.

Season rewards will be out before EoP first week is done, so if you're platinum 4 or above, you'll get some 25% selectors and crystals.

Oooh now that’s a very good shout. That brings both of the other classes into proper viability. Appreciate that, @Uvogin

I'll let you pick a champ, but I'd say get paragon because there's a decent chance EoP will in total give enough mats to r4 at least one champ, especially more points for paragon.

Or, something that just occurred to me, wait and see the rewards for EoP. You might miss one week's worth of objectives, but if Kabam are benevolent, the ultimate milestone rewards might not be that different with a couple of points. I don't remember how it was last year but not having a cushion of even a few points seems crazy. Then again, I don't remember the scoring last year.

Meta4s in our alliance actually took her up after 7.4. Think I've seen a few others on defense in war as well

Nah, I don’t run them. I like throwing specials too much. But I’m path 6 in AW and usually take a chunk of the minis and/or the boss, so my standard AW team is Nimrod/Kitty/Tigra. Kitty is very fun, and is probably my current front runner.

Prestige is a consideration, but I’m not in a terribly competitive alliance. We run map 8, but I’m in the top three or so for prestige in the alliance already.

Since no one knows about the EOP rewards and objectives. It will be gamble to delay the title. So in my personal opinion you should get Paragon before EOP drops, so you don't miss out single opportunity presented there. Because later you might regret of that Paragon objective had something good which could have helped your account more.
