That would most definitely unbalance the game.
As we progress in the game, We get almost every champ in the game in all available rarity (Sooner or Later. Still RNG playes a big part ). Thousands of player already have OP champs. It does not unbalance the game anyways.

I think that, in my opinion, a lot of people have a specific champ they are looking for. Awaken a certain champ, get a new one, finally pull that old champ. If we get a ton of Hercs than so be it right? Afterall it just makes everyone happy and Mysterio > Hercules

I don't know if it would unbalance the game but as someone sitting on a Cosmic 3->4 Rank Up Gem, yes, I would be very content with just a single 6 Star Hercules. He'd be my top champ in a heartbeat. I very rarely target champs as I feel the cost to do so is quite expensive.
