Unable to place banned attackers on defense in war

I woke up this morning to multiple messages from teammates in my alliance telling me that they can't place their Defenders because they're banned. At first I was like what are you talking about because you can't ban Defenders. Then I saw the screenshots. I'm scrambling to try and redo defense now before work. This is ridiculous.

Just to be clear my teammates are trying to place their Defenders and the game is telling them they can't place them because they're banned on attack. 🙄

    A workaround would be to unban them, and place bans after everyone has placed.

    Thanks but it was based upon the opposing teams ban list, not ours. It was fixed before war #3 started.
