It is a foul to use LC/DE on the battleground. Because this battle is time-limited.

    Then maybe don't use LC/DE?
    Not every game mode has to suit the use of them.

    Seeing as week 2 of BG has a set of nodes that makes it absolutely impossible to be competitive with them active, I feel like it's ok to use them for week 1 if you like them.

    They changed how long the fights are, changed the scoring system, and have two new sets of nodes for each week. Those are pretty significant changes to the game mode.
