New Energy Limit Glitch?????

Boy what the heck? Two times now I reached a new level and in both times it said "New Energy Capacity!" But it comes out like this.
If you can't see it then let me describe it. Where the energy thing is, it literally says 87/54. And after I use all the energy and I refill it, it goes back to 54/54. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?????

87/54 means you lvled up when you were at 33/53. so rather than just give you back (+21) to get you to 54/54 like it used to be, now you get full energy (+54), so you get 54 +33 from earlier = 87. but the cap is still there which is 54 at your lvl.
so once you get below 54. you can't possibly get beyond that (unless you use energy refill with some energy left on you)

54 is your new Energy Limit (except when overflowing it from applying refills or leveling up).

What was your Energy Limit BEFORE you leveled up ? I’d bet it was 53 ??

If you haven’t experienced the new Energy Overflow that was just added to the game recently. Click on that energy bar when you have used some (but not all) energy and then apply a full refill. You will see it add 54 (based on your current Summoner Level) to what you were currently at (for example, do it when you are at 40 energy). And you will see (same example) that your energy overflows to become 40+54 = 94.

That’s not to say that 94 is your new Max Energy, just that you weren’t penalized for using a refill when not all the way down to 0. You now get the full amount of a refill, no matter how low you are at when you do it.

But as you use it and it lowers from 94 back down below 54, building it back over time as normal only will top off at 54 (your actual limit).
