    Just wanted to post this delicious war win. Especially take a look at defender kills which don’t factor in.

    Slightly OT but would be curious to know how far down into the AW rankings you’d have to go before wars aren’t won purely based on defender rating.

    Depends on how you place. If you're placing very strong defenders and not just diverse ones, probably not very far downward. Even near the top I've been told that some wars are being won by hybrid defenses using a path-stopping strategy I won't articulate the specifics of, but the obvious basic idea is to place optimal defenders on some nodes and maximal diversity everywhere else.
