Just read the announcement. What is there to like lol
I like the new things in the store, the rest is too boring to read.

I will say its crazy how someone who just finished 6.4 can have acess to half t6bc and t2a frags just like that...
I think each title should have 2 sub titles:Begginer and advanced (those wont be displayed in the title itself) so let's say beginner TB is... anyone who got the title, and advanced TB is someone who already beat act 7 and have 3 r3s/1 r4
And then advanced TB can get the frags I talked about above in the store, and the t5cc selector, and TB beginners only the t5cc selector

The Problem is that AW is a competitive game mode...or it was...

The aw top rewards already are outdated and now it makes even less sense to play top tier aw cause using hard earned loyalty on potions and boosts is less worth than just hording it and buy stuff in the store :s

No surprise the chihuahuas are yapping at me again rather than addressing the point/s made, what a wonderful place this.

If you want to analyze my individual performance feel free to check out my AW playlists on my YouTube channel of the same name. I’m at a comfortable level and it’s much nicer than playing with the warholes who post on the forums.

In your first video of Season 35, less than 20 seconds in, you apply a 200% mutant boost along with rainbow boosts.... for path 3. Path 3. And you have the audacity to come here and say using those class boots are buying fights? I can see why you think that if you're running path 3.
    🧥 + tail
:D, doubt that guy could get past first section of path 5 or 9, let alone 2,4,6 lol

The rainbow boost even happen in off season fyi. They are regularly expiring. I never said I didn’t buy AW fights (you somehow inferred that which you suck at btw so stop inferring things), I said losing that ability is why people are unhappy. Anyways getting rid of buffet at the end is going to change things while also opening up things for me so buying fights will be less common.

And yes that would be the perfect example of buying aw fights if I’m using a mutant power boost, I’m either using apoc or prof x to just ignore the node mechanics.
You must be in constant pain with how much you twist everything.
    Pointless. 🤡

You need a better definition of what it means to buy a fight if you're dying while you have a 200% boost active.
You need to spend less time on me, less time trolling the forums and spend more time being a better person.

Which changes? If speaking on the change to boosts that is likely because of the majority of people being able to buy a fight with loyalty is now going to require much more planning, units or even be impossible to achieve for some.

Seeing where you are ucrrently, i can see your difficulty winning anyways. So this wont be much of a change to you.
Yes we are worlds apart…inflated much? There I was thinking you played well above me in aw, in fact we’ve likely faced each other in the recent past. Get outta here with your nonsense.

Another answer to the original question before posts went random..

Like someone stated, some high level players in plat and master tier felt like the rewards for AW were not updated. They saw that players could get the same or better rewards spending on those weekly stamp cards, cavalier events or the new loyalty store rewards. So instead of only getting those rewards by being in a top 3% AW alliance for a month, someone could just spend units, money or loyalty in about a week.

Having said that. Those players are focusing on T6B and T3A catalysts to rank 4 their 6*s.

For the majority of players not in a top 5% alliance, you are still looking to get 5* shards, 6* shards and some catalysts, AW is still a good place for you. Yes like always, you can spend money to get anything through deals and offers. But to build your roster of champs it still a decent place I think.

That’s a fair point. But ultimately even the Side Quest and EQ are now generating comparable rewards to AW masters, and in the case of R4 materials, better.

The loyalty store is a very good idea but the execution is terrible. I worked out on another thread if you went 12-0 in a T1 ally, using only 2 items/was you’d net 480k glory in profit, and trust me, nobody only uses 24 items in a season in T1. So even the players from the best alliance in the world cannot make enough loyalty to buy even one of the big ticket items.

When you take into account AQ entry, which many lower spenders pay for with loyalty, along with boosts, mastery cores which many are still working on, this store is pretty meaningless to the majority of people, and instead of buffing rewards they took the time to make a store that’s virtually inaccessible to the players who spend the most effort on war.

These are some pretty spectacularly poor changes.

I feel like this is an incomplete idea that has been released prematurely.

    The good points:
+ Control over what you get for your AW rewards
+ Making loyalty a proper war currency akin to glory and AQ.

    The bad points:
    - There simply isn’t enough loyalty in the game right now. Let’s say in a good T1 war you only need to use 2 items - 40k loyalty - awesome you win and you net about 40k loyalty profit. It turns out you’re in GT40, and you can maintain this god level of gameplay all 12 wars, only using 2 items a war and you go 12-0. You’ve just netted 480k glory across the season. That’s not enough to buy even one of those top prizes as a Paragon.
    - Loyalty is still the most commonly used resource for AQ tickets unless you’re a whale/heavy arena grinder who’s comfortably making more than 1m/week gold.
    - Making 200% class boosts an AW only resource is extremely limiting as many of us use them in general gameplay every now and then.
    - AW rewards are still massively outdated and putting inaccessible rewards in the loyalty store does not make anything better.

    What needs to happen:
+ Season rewards should contain ~1m loyalty to be spent on the glory store.
+ AW season rewards need a significant buff, independent of the loyalty update.
+ AQ tickets need to either be reduced in price, removed completely or loyalty increased from alliance help so that you can enter without draining all your resources.
