I always run 3 points in Willpower no matter if I run the suicide masteries or not. It's just great whenever you are inflicted with a non-damaging debuff. While a single point will make HP trickle in at a steady pace, I just feel like the extra two points bump up that regen enough for it to be worth it. Especially when you get a lot of different debuffs on you, your regen just skyrockets.
So is the consensus now back to max'ing out Willpower again?
Years back when Willpower was chopped at the knees (regen went from multiples of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 down to incremental 0.5, 0.6, 0.7), it was generally considered that the extra 2 levels were sort of a waste most of the time after that change was made.
Yes, the extra Armor may help some, but the extra regen is sort of minimal after 1st point. That's why those extra 2 points were considered better used elsewhere (especially after the newer offensive branch, deep wounds, etc, was created a while back) ??

What I don't like is wasting mastery points elsewhere in the tree in order to use it.
