How do we go from winning a war and gaining +33 rating but we lose 1 war and drop 59 rating points and two tiers? That makes zero sense.

    Even though matching is done by War Rating, the +/- potential is based on relative strength/prestige difference between teams.

    Assuming you were stronger than both those last teams.
    You gain LESS WR when beating up on a lesser team (you’re supposed to beat them).
    But you lose MORE WR if you happen to lose to lesser teams (when you should have been able to beat them).

    Although interesting to note, looks like they have been resolving the problem where last season of WR +/- being about 1/2 of what it had been prior to last season. These numbers look closer to what they should be normally.
