    Good luck.
To me that reads they can change Materials (catalysts etc) and services (fps, server related stuff, support team etc) with or without notice i can't see anything about champions and their synergies/abilities in there.

Either way, Im not agreeing with you nor with those that are screaming consumer court blah blah, just trying to find how this pic you keep posting everywhere applies to the issue at hand 🤔
The terms “Materials” and “Services” are capitalized because they are terms defined within the TOS. “Materials” is defined in section 4:

“Site Items” is further defined in section 14:

In effect, “Materials” is “everything in every game they operate.”

As MCOC is a service, you are required by law to agree to the terms of service or your use of the service is unauthorized and you would have to cease.

For those who disagree with the TOS or alternatively believes the TOS is either not legal or not binding, refusal to agree to it does not then mean they have the right to use the service while ignoring the TOS. You cannot just say I don’t agree to your terms of service, therefore you no longer have any rights to control who uses it. Deliberately playing the game while not honoring the terms of the TOS is a bad faith action in the legal sense of the term. If you attempt to sue the company on the grounds they changed something you feel you had the legal right to preserve, they could probably counter sue for fraud and theft of service.
Again, I dont agree or disagree, I hold no opinion on the matter. You need not of bothered with all that text, I havent bothered to read it lol but I would like to see the outcome of such a case ... through curiosity 🤣👌
Why would you specifically state you’re trying to find the answer to a question you have no actual interest in, and assert a position in a matter you have no actual opinion on?
Aside from kabams TOS which is only one side of.the coin, could it be trumped by consumer law? Maybe, but I wouldn't know hence me stating i neither agree or disagree, therefore how I can form an opinion on something based on only half of the information?

I am not actively searching for the answer to that question, I only said that I would be curios to know.

    Either way, end of discussion.

That is actually known as holding an opinion on the matter. “To me”, “I can’t see anything about”, “just trying to find out” etc.

DNA politely took the time to correct and educate you on what you were self-admittedly trying to find out. Then you’re purposely ignoring it in quite a rude way if I’m honest, while claiming you don’t hold an opinion which is contrary to the opinion that you held in the literal previous post.

Your opinion was that nothing was said about champions or synergies, that was wrong and DNA corrected you that Materials doesn’t mean in game materials - it actually means anything in the game including characters. Meaning your opinion was wrong. At least do someone the courtesy of addressing the posts they make in response to you. This forum is for discussion, which is a two way street.
No that is merely me interpreting what I read, not my opinion

I guess you could say I'm speculating
Also, I wasn't being rude. If you think that then you and I have different ideas of the word. If you have interpreted that way then that isn't my problem. But you could say that is also you speculating like I am with what I read 😉👌

That was an insulting post from the mod in the big topic. You don’t even need testing to know that this was goofy.

At max sig, crits have a 90% chance to trigger Veil. That means each crit has a 45% chance to trigger prowess. In 15 seconds, 4 combos is not unreasonable. 20 hits with a 26% chance to crit. That’s a 5 prowesses even with slightly below average luck. Throw in crit synergies and you’ve essentially buffed this synergy at the same time.

I’m happy with the result but unhappy I won’t get to enjoy biggest yellow numbers.

Tell me you don't know how game development works without telling you don't know how game development works.

I already recommended having a beta, that can be 3 days or a week before the first monthly champs prerelease bundle, that allows us to have a placeholder spot on the team to test these synergies. We wouldn't be able to use the new champion, but we can use their synergies. Many people would have been fine with nerfing the SW synergy before the prerelease bundle than after it, and that could have easily been handled by letting us test it a couple days before.
So how's that work? How can they prevent you using a champ except for synergies? That's not possible.

I'd really like to see where all these people were talking about this synergy before QS's release.
Ain't reading the whole thread but they already have ? Spots in synergies for coming soon champs. So, that. Unless obviously the synergy is directly for the champ in question. Also, you don't need to know anything about game development to know about proper testing. I used to test app store games for a small company and see if they ran smoothly. Game development is not equal to play testing. You put a group of 10 experienced players/past players on play testing to provide unbiased feedback. It'd go a long way to stop the amount of stuff they're releasing broken.

It would help to know a little bit about game development, to know that hiring a million dollars a year of staff to solve one problem is not an actionable recommendation.
😂 I lost the will to argue back when your counter argument is that a small team of 5-10 gamers that know how the fight mechanics and such work is going to cost millions a year to you. Anyone linking development and testing together are just showing their clear lack of knowledge in the area just for the sake of arguing for or against the game and the company. At the end of the day, it wouldn't be too hard to grab a small handful of the knowledgeable playerbase to be regular testers. One thing I will leave it at, is the mods put it's not as simple as "tap tap sp2" but in this case, it really was. But I'm going to leave it at that, because unlike the vast majority here. I have no want or need to escalate and argue for threads on end. You know who you are.

How can you be curious to know but not be searching for the answer? You were given all the information. Consumer Law doesn't apply because you're agreeing to the ToS.

Plus, you got what you paid for in this bundle. You'd be laughed out of court if you brought this case up.

Now, if Kabam advertised this synergy and showing that it could do 1mil plus damage and the bundle included SW and the bundle said synergy early release, yeah, you'd have something but none of that happened.
