Why? I'm not saying it's the worst idea I've heard, but gold is kinda included in almost every aspect of the game. There are even specific areas (arena, incursions, completion and exploration of story/variant content) where you can get a massive amount. Feel like it's pretty unnecessary.

I don't think we need to add a grindable gold quest. As people have stated, there are plenty of avenues to get gold in this game. I'll admit that the amount of gold that we get from these things (particularly Arena and Incursions) need to be re-evaluated as the demand for gold has gone up significantly as we transition larger portions of the player base to an exclusively 6 Star meta.

One big improvement though would be expanding the use of selectable rewards in this game. Allow more people to play the content that they prefer while still being able to target the resources you need. One of the biggest places where they could address this is the Glory Store. As a TB/Paragon, you can get 1.5 T5B every cycle but can only get 10 Gold Crystals. If someone is willing to forgo using Glory on rarer resources they should at least be able to get a material amount of it.

Because people are still playing the game and wish to progress in it. That doesn't mean you need to sacrifice all of your time on this game. Grinding like a mad man and playing a game like a sane person are two very different things.

And yes, that's precisely what I'm saying. People who spend hours together grinding arenas for a champ/gold are either unemployed and lack a proper social life or earn their bread by playing the game (streamers and youtubers)

There is an incredibly large difference between grinding Arena for a Champion (even just a 5 Star) compared to grinding Arena to have enough Gold to use all the Catalysts/ISO you get.

Problem with this is the thought you either don`t do arena, or you grind all arenas for every milestone. Even just a couple of rounds a day can boost your gold income quite a bit.
I do work 40 hours a week, I do close to half the house work, I have a wife and 2 children (which I do not ignore), academics are behind me, you got me on social life, since I am an introvert I do not require quite as much social attention. By wife and close family is more than enough for me. And I do about 30 minutes of arena every night, maybe 30 extra on weekends. Some questing and aq to make an hour. And I am at 130m gold.
It does not have to be black and white. The best place is often that sweet middle ground.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again, contrary to belief grinding arena is not an end all be all to solve all gold problems. I grind a decent amount of arena (have over 110,000 arena wins) but gold is literally always my bottleneck and I'm always gold broke.

As of right now, I have about 60k gold despite grinding many arena milestones every arena. The problem is the amount of gold that we get from arena was established back when the game revolves around 4 stars.

There is an enormous gold difference in gold between maxing out a 4 star (to include rank up and level up) and a 6 star. I have 7 r4 6 stars and the amount of gold it takes to get them from r1 to max r4 is insane.

I always have lots of iso (every 4 star and most 5 stars is a max sig dup at this point), always have to worry about rank up cats expiring (to include a1, a2, t4b, t5b and more) but never have enough gold to keep up. I do every event that gives gold, I sell items, iso and cats that's I can before they expire, but I'm always low on gold.

We can autoplay quest instead of boring arenas and there isn't much to do lately so my energy refills are also expiring in stash. That's why I think it's a good idea to have a place where we can grind gold.

I hate arena. Funny thing, some of the same people here who say that's the way to get gold, didnt' want to do it this month to get a 6*. I think pretty much everyone can agree it's a necessity to do arena at times for gold / units, but there is LOTs of room for improvement to make it more enjoyable/rewarding, without "breaking the game".

That aside, why can't there be more common gold rewards in side quests. The best event in the games history, for me (because I needed gold in a bad way and it came in spades), was the Cosmic Eclipse Side quest that let you pick the resource(s) you wanted to target. And in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't much per day, but it sure added up over 30 days. I got 7 million gold that month and it was AMAZING. Can we just have more frequent side quests that let us choose the type of rewards we'd like to target. Seriously - I got 7.1 million gold that month and I had to work for it, but it was well worth the time and effort and it made it possible to use some of my dusty rank up gems that were sitting there waiting for JUST the gold.

If this is such a resource management game, then gave us more ways to manage our resources by targeting the things we would like to have or need to have. It won't all be there immediately, but it gives us an immediate goal to work for an a sense of purpose working towards it. RNG is only fun for so much. The occasional guaranteed rewards (over-time) are needed too.

The best you can do right now is about half that, by autoplaying the master ISO-8 fields.

If you sell all the ISO, that plus the gold you get for completion and exploration, plus the gold you get for defeating the defenders on the map plus the gold you get for traversing the paths will net you about 23k gold total, for 44 energy (there are two paths that are 11 hops long with 2 energy per move).

You can also autocomplete it for 55 energy and 11484 more gold (in ISO) which is far less efficient, but if you have energy refills expiring and energy going to waste, you might as well autofight/autocomplete all of them.

There is a lot of options when it comes to earning gold, a lot of it just is revolves around actually playing the game. Little things like even doing an auto grind on The Daily quests or the event Quest plus a couple rounds of the summoner trials so I can earn units too and it can make all the difference in the world if you can spare the energy for it. Couple years ago I was gold poor and struggling rank up to rank up but really hunkering down, takinga break from rank ups, selling off excess items and ISO and taking advantage of all the repeatable content every day and I was able to make millions of gold pieces. And most of it you can Auto fight.

But I'm not discounting the fact that they could always add a bump to the amount of gold earned per quest.

That would actually cancel out being casual...
U want all the gold possible for free.. or be able to farm it in auto mode...so u can progress... Meanwhile everyone else before u progressed or are progressing working for it..
