**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

  • @Vedisuke , so what are you trying to say is wrong ?
Are you focused on the wording that it is “removed” if you activate an SP ?
Thinking if you remove it, then it won’t damage you ?

Yes, it is removed? But only in conjunction with being inflicted with that Sting damage.

Wording saying “removed” is to say that it is not a permanent Sting debuff, or that it would last a full 6 seconds and potentially harm you twice if you launch back-2-back SP's within a 6 second timeframe.
It only harms you once (unless you let it expire, then it won’t harm you at all).

If you’ve ever felt useless just imagine being a power sting debuff that is removed without doing damage when a special is used

I’m confused, was the power sting not expired when the special attack was used? And a power sting wasn’t applied after the special attack even though kingpin went above a bar of power
  • Or maybe OP was trying to time his SP3 for exactly right as the Sting expired.
The icon does seem to go away ever so slightly before the rest of his Buff/Card icons go away (signaling the start of the SP3.

But we’ll never know from the post's title or initial comments, because OP fails to mention what it is they are concerned about specifically.

Yeah if you watch closely on the video, you can see that the power sting expires and then he uses the special.
  • Could be they did mis-time pressing the button.
And maybe the way the game is coded when you do an SP, the game first removes the Sting icon, then proceeds with the SP3 animation (thus the brief appearance that it expired when it really hadn’t yet), and of course because it is an SP3 the damage isn’t inflicted or displayed until you come out of the animation (as opposed to SP 1/2).
