Is that new 1 Loyalty, 40% team AW revive, counting towards Item Use event ?

If so, could be just reapplying over and over (didn’t I hear of a bug where that item was NOT counting against your 15 item limit for War ? Making it even more useful for Item Use Ally Event)

Although I wouldn’t doubt if it doesn’t count for Item Use Event yet, being new. Other new stuff doesn’t always get added to Points Rules right away,

Do they still get map completion points?

One of the downsides to the low cost revives is my little alliance relied on a strong boss island and gave away lots of tiles on the map.

Our wins were mainly due to people iteming out/giving up. Now it seems brute force is encouraged which makes it pretty hard for us since we cannot compete on exploration.

The system is such that the Points for a clear will still allow you to keep your Bracket in most cases even if you lose. So it's important to push either way. Although I must admit, that's an extreme number, and it highlights a larger issue I won't get into here.

Untrue. How high up in aw have you been? Clear at any cost was 5 years ago. Playing top tier aw, what you are saying is a losing strategy. Just hoping we get matched while you play that way... furthermore, as to the "screenshot" would have taken every team member to use 7+ team revives. Can it happen? Yes, in a noob ally only.

I'm not saying the objective is to lose at all. I said with full Clears, in most cases it won't cost you to go down a Bracket. Not Tier. The Brackets are determined by Points. The Tier affects the Multiplier. You still earn Points for Clears, and those Points are still multiplied whether you win or not. Unless you're on the cusp of your Bracket, losing with a full Clear is better than giving up for the final standings.

The 2 cases being asked about were “barley playing basically retired group” with a low WR of 1625.
And “little alliance relied on a strong boss island” hoping teams would give up and not get thru Boss.

Not exactly “Top Tier” like you. So if they need to keep going after losing any Attack Bonus on some nodes, still worth it to keep using 1 Loyalty Revives and get that Explore and more importantly a Boss Kill.

And the 214 Kill example, if they were several hundred rank spots away from a Bracket border, it shouldn’t end up costing them that Bracket (only 1 more war in season).
They could have even done that “earn Item Use, and a lot of it, on revives” across maybe only 10 defensive nodes. Could have still got FULL 3x Attack Bonus on all the other 40 defenders in that BG, and decided to sacrifice Attack Bonus on only about 10 nodes. Would only cost them 2400 points (times multiplier).

Highest Ive seen is 300+ and it was JA vs an ally that went from 2 battlegroups to 3. So it was basically a top 3 ally defense vs a gold ally

You aren't exaggerating lol. You have an officer who hasn't logged in for 86 days and almost none of the members are active. Some over 300 days. That would drive me nuts.
