AGAIN, I ask..

...Why we are losing to modders AND quitters in BG.. Im in Celstial V. They should not be able to quit at the start of the fight and win. I lost this BG because of this. Did I fight well? No. But at least I fought. They should forfeit the round by quitting.

As it says in the picture, they did quit and the victory went for the quitter....doesn't make sense at all and it's either a bug or cheater

I know what it says, but I mean for the whole match in general. I haven’t played much of BG since beta, but even if they quit, you wouldn’t have to play further right and the match would end giving you the overall victory? Or does it have you still do another fight?

They won that round and because of it being round 3, I lost the match. Very frustrating. I was willing to lose, its a terrible match up for both of us but to lose because they quit out at the start of the fight? Doesnt make sense.

I mean it's a difficult situation, assuming the bug/cheat happened only in round 1 and the other 2 were normal fights...if the person who benefit from the bug/cheat win another round, they win the match...something that's completely unfair and for sure something that needs to be look into

You can quit and still win. I’ll be honest, I’m not proud of it, but if the opponent reaches a sp3 and I’m sure ill die, I’ll quit out before they can kill me. I’ll gain way more points that way

This is not true.
If you quit at the start of the fight or with 100% health this is the result, 15000 points for you

As others finally alluded to, OP is not saying they forfeited the whole match (which would be the Arena-esque Exit Door in upper left corner.

They chose to Quit the particular Fight (either immediately while opponents still running up to each other, or else very soon after).
That indeed results in Losing out on any of the 30,000 point potential for removing health from Defender (no health removed = 0 of the 30,000 pts), while getting to keep just the full 15,000 point potential for remaining (full) health on your attacker. As well as getting ZERO points for any Time Remaining (quitting forfeits any of the Time points and shows 0 time remaining, like you had actually spent all that time in the fight.

Think that's why Kabam made the Defender potential double of what the Attacker potential is.

Doesn’t mean you still can’t win. But as exampled, the other person would have had to take a long time fighting, while not taking too much off of the defender, and losing more than twice as much of their own attacker health vs what they took from the defender.

If they are quitting a fight, most likely they just don’t want to fight with a real bad matchup, and/or are just willing to take a loss in that round (round 1 or 2) and move on to the next fight in the match.

Acutely smart if it's guaranteed 15k points

15k will lose you about 85% of matches in my experience.

I’m sorry Miike, but unless something changed from last month to this month, it’s not a bug. This is how scoring works if you quit out at the start of a BG fight.

Here’s a fight I did last month vs an alliance mate and I quit like 10 seconds.
