What’s the point in the Summoned Symbiote now?

First post here, I’ve tried the search button for this but too many threads to go through!

So, the Summoned Symbiote from that event thing ages ago - can’t use him anywhere and can’t sell champs anymore - so what’s the point in keeping him?
Can’t do anything with the klyntar cats or anything with him so….?

Only a little thing but it’s bugging me that I cannot use him anywhere.

You can use him in all non act 6+ content. Just because you don't use him doesn't mean he is unusable.

Use him in battlegrounds. Has only prestige of 5k or so but stats of a maxed 5 star champ.

He’s fun to use, wish they kept some of his kit intact but it is what it is

Can use him in 2-day CAT Arenas (just not other arenas)

The point is he is cute and tho corrupted by Knull he did not gave away his will and stood strong with us vs Knull hench he we love him

You could ask the same about most trophy champs - Thanos, Kang, Punisher, Immortal Iron Fist.

There's really no point to any of them, either.

Ultimately, what's the point of playing the game at all?

Oooh, well don’t I look like a fool! Thanks for the replies, honestly, I had tried using him previously in dailys and other quests but it kept saying that I couldn’t use him. Buuut….have just tried again and can now use him so maybe my game was glitching I guess? Awesome stuff.
