I just love how everyone assumes I'm suggesting this because I am struggling with x y or z 🤦♂️.
Explain why you think it's a good idea then. I don't see how having more champs be unusable, makes the mode more enjoyable. It would only hurt smaller accounts and make it harder for them to compete with bigger accounts. It would actually make for a more uneven playing field.
Right, so first of, put in the top half gladiator circuit ... that's the smaller accounts eliminated.
It could add another element of thought and strategy into the mode.
Just want to add that I am not saying this should happen, it was 1 suggestion to try make it more challenging. I'd like the draft phase to not be as affected by rng like it is currently and think that could aid toward that. Having rng against you in there is actually make or break. Maybe it would make it worse maybe it wouldn't, I don't know. Hence the post
Interesting thought. So theoretically this would have to be something that only applies to GC and not VT in order to not screw over smaller accounts.
I'm not really sure how a blacklist would help with rng in the draft though. I get what you mean, it's frustrating when you don't get a good draft, but I don't think blacklisting would help. Assuming we're talking about just GC, like I said those guys aren't gonna be bothered by an extra 3 champs they can't use, they just sub in other r4s.
Yeah possibly, I don't think VC needs anything really other than the rotating nodes, month of the same is a chore and demoralising but that's a topic for another day lmao.
I see your point with the whale accounts, while it wouldnt have as big an impact on then it would create another avenue of thought to some degree, Id like to think they don't form the entire top half of GC but if they do then maybe stretch it the blacklist to the whole of GC. Also let's not forget they would then get a whole month (or whatever duration) of that champ being whitelisted, that coupled with some well thought out nodes could make some - for example - nuke options useless and force you to ban champs you normally wouldn't 🤔

Right? The rng sucks ***** 😂😂, its the one thing I think shouldn't be in a competitive mode at all

If RNG didn't exist, the gamemode would be a lot worse off. Without RNG, you would need a blacklist and whitelist which is a main reason why those exist in AW. Decks would also need to be smaller to reduce the number of annoying champions someone can just choose from. In addition, I choose from the same 15 champions pretty much every single match, so bans won't mean a thing to me. Oh look, the dude didn't ban by r3 sig 169 domino, guess I'll bring her along since that is an almost instant win every time.
While it is frustrating getting bad rng and having only 1 decent defender in your deck, it is better than letting us have free reign over who we pick. Also as mentioned 50 times before, this would benefit whales with big accounts since we can get 7 r4s in our draft every single time, if we wanted to, if there was no rng involved.

Completely disagree with the rng aspect. I honestly think both players picking 7 champ blindly from one another from your whole deck is a much better avenue as that way you make your own luck. After a countdown both drafts are revealed. Having the rng aspect is in fact unfair to the matches. The only thing which is fair about the rng is the fact that both players are subject to the same rng but if player 1 has great luck and player 2 has awful luck then the match itself is NOT fair. I can usually tell by the draw whether I stand a chance of winning or if I know I won't stand a chance, if I don't stand a chance then I quit.
How can that sort of system be labelled competitive? IMHO the only reason rng is there is because it can be monetized, as in, you can spend money to keep buying shuffles to "hope" you get a better draw.
rng can really screw you over, in other areas of the game its fine but it is not fine here. I (along with others I know) have had a loss Streak of 10+ over the space of a couple of days which was 90% down to bad drafts. In a competitive game mode rng shouldn't be playing part. It adds an element into the mode which the player (who's skill will/won't get them win) has no control over.
