5 star awakening gem on Cap IW or Herc?

Some things to note… I have a tech, a skill, and two mutant awakening gems, but no science or cosmic, so I have one generic awakening gem.
My science draws have been garbage. My first two 6 stars were Electro and Rhino… and my 2nd two 6 stars were… electro and rhino.
In the cosmic category I have a 5 and 6 star cosmic ghost rider. I also have and use my Medusa and Angela. I also have Corvus, but unduped.
I’ve never had a science champion on my roster, so it feels like that should be the obvious choice, but I hear that Hercules is just so good. After having the worst science luck, I pulled Mister Fantastic, Mr Negative, and Cap IW the past couple days.
