Proposal to fix BG

After I have looked at the MOD and spend some time thinking about this, I would like to propose additional prerequisite to join BG. Current cut off is just to be uncollected but I don't think it is enough.

I would like to propose to have minimum number of champs like in incursion to have additional screening for account maturity. For example:
- they should have minimum 50 5 stars rank 5.
- or; they should have minimum 20 6 stars rank 3.

This will at least screen out some MOD as they tend to have their account up and running in short period and don't really spend time to mature their account.

Of course, there could be some old and mature account that decide to use MOD. That could be reported case by case basis.

I believe if this can be done, it will reduce number of cheaters significantly.

You realize modders can probably give themselves whatever champ or crystals they want and get all the resources to awaken them and max them out in less than 5 minutes right?

I'm pretty sure they don't. The only mods employed I've seen most commonly just make it easy to kill everything so they just beat act 6 and explore abyss within 1 day. If there were mods to get them stuff, don't you think we would see much larger accounts modding than just small accounts that have done bare minimum? Also if they could mod in resources, it would be EXTREMELY easy for the server to detect, and also these people wouldn't need to mod and bot arena. Due to all of these reasons is why I don't think they can just cheat in resources.

So your proposal is to essentially eliminate all uncollected and cavalier accounts and most thronebreaker accounts? Not many players have 50+ max 5* (I’m a 4+ yr old Paragon with only 30), and only TB or higher accounts will have 1 R3 let alone 20. I like the train of thought but those are some pretty significant extremes that will remove thousands upon thousands of legit players from being able to play the game mode.

It would also reduce the number of players participating at all dramatically. I would not be surprised if that cutoff wiped out 80% of all the currently eligible players of the game completely from the mode.

It would definitely remove my Cavalier alt from the mode. Along with practically everyone he's ever faced in battlegrounds since launch.

That seems extreme. As far as all those players would be concerned, you would be eliminating cheating in Battlegrounds by eliminating Battlegrounds.

We could consider the the optimum criteria while minimizing the cheaters similar to incursion. At least, there should be something else rather than just title. If you play this game long enough, you should be able to acquire enough number of champs in your roster. The figure could be simulated by Kabam to make sure it is practical.

Same thing happen in incursion. I don't think all uncollected players could do Sector 9, right?

Probably, BG could be separated into Divisions using similar criteria like incursion.

By the way, I did a test account using MOD. I realized that champion acquisition and champion rank up is their limitation. Probably, they could get free crystal in the future. For now, the avantage of MOD is to give them power, attack and defense boost that they could destroy the contents like a piece of cake.

So, I believe that additional criteria is needed especially number and rank of champions.

If that's the case then why do almost all of these modders have the strongest 6* champs (mainly Quicksilver and Hercules, for some reason every modder I've come across has one of them or both) awakened at max sig while also having a rating of 100k? Luck on the first 10 pop? Lol there is absolutely no way.

That's why most of this modler do abyss to get abyss crystal to pick the champs. Probably they get something from EOP and chapter 7 as well.

There could be some normal accounts that decide to use MOD here and there, like in BG, as well.

Modding is getting really annoying in BG. Further, Kabam shuts down posts about it. I’m surprised this one is still up. The cheating must be getting so bad that Kabam can’t keep a lid on all the complaints.

I understand Kabam shutting down the posts as well. Otherwise the forum will be flooded with just complaints. Let propose some ideas if you have any. The same as what I am trying to propose having additional prerequisite on the number of champs like in Incursion.
