Alliance war ends in 4 days and 10 hours, + some extra hours/day for rewards.
To contribute from the beginning to the new gifting event we have to be in the new alliance maximum in 4 days.

Isn't there a little timing problem here ?

So just wait to do your “gifting” till your timer expires.
