The origin of the "Nameless champions"

Is there an origin for the Nameless champs like Nameless Collector, Nameless Thanos..? Like how and what...i guess maybe in that event quest a few years ago that had all the Nameless champs in it... but, if it isn't known who turned them "Nameless" it could be cool later in the story to find out that The Chronoserpant was behind this, similar to how in Ninjago crystalized (haven't seen it) it was revealed that The Overlord was the one behind all, he corrupted The great devourer who corrupted Garmadon and everything happened because of him.
Could be cool to see Nameless Grandmaster in the next Abyss type content, or another new Nameless champ..
I hope either The chronoserpant will corrupt Carina in act 8, or sometime Knull will corrupt her in a later act (I had a concept for that one) and we get to fight Nameless Carina

Thanos created the Nameless Guilly, Hype etc. He also did the same to himself. No idea about anyone else.

Nameless champions are those from the realm of the death stone. They are sentient versions of themselves but scans of them show they are lifeless. They were explained about in the April 2018 Event Quest. In the 2019 event quest we had nameless Thanos who was worse than our Thanos. Instead of killing half of everyone in the universe, he killed half of everyone in every single sub-universe to his as well as his own universe giving him the highest kill count.

That universe he was in was also where we got ronin canonically in the game

Insightful. So then they probably should have been called “Lifeless ….”, instead of “Nameless ….”.

Since calling someone “Nameless Guillotine” doesn’t really make sense. You just named her, but are calling her nameless at the same time ??

Lifeless Thanos, or Lifeless Guillotine, would have been very ominous.

Lifeless Thanos, or Lifeless Guillotine, would have been very ominous.

I don't remember the exact reason why they're called nameless, but it might be something to do with the fact that they didn't have a name to identify them with. The fact they are lifeless was just a neat quirk that caused confusion among the avengers
