5 & 7* crystals

I have some weird things in my crystals tab

Where did the 3 5* shards come from?
That is 168 shards i cant explain. 8 143 / 275 = 29.61, the 0.61 x 275 = 168.

Then on the 7* i have a 100 extra. 20 450 / 275 = 74.36, the 0.36 x 275 = 100. No where to get 7*’s except dupes, thus the 100 isnt possible?

Computers are notoriously bad at math.

You can get smaller amounts from crystal shard crystals but I suspect it was from the red letter days. There we got unusual amounts like 888 shards.

5 star shards isn’t weird. As someone else said there have been events that gave out odd amounts of crystal shards. 7* shards I cannot explain

The crystal shard amounts are all pretty mysterious. I somehow had 1999 4* shards at one point lol

As others have mentioned, the 3 5* shards is easy to explain due to the 8s that show up during Lunar New Year stuff.

The 7* shards, on the other hand, I cannot explain. That's definitely odd. I'll try to look into it.

Once when the banquet stuff dropped i was opening a six star and dc’ed. the duped showed up in alliance but when i logged back in the crystal still showed unopened, I opened it and got a max 6* dupe then. Maybe something went askew there

Did you open a 4* Punisher when those were erroneously handing out 7* Shards for dupes? If so, maybe Kabam mathed wrong when they were removing the extra shards.

Nope. No punisher. Only opened bc’s in the last couple of days of the banquet event

I clearly remember having 9999 5 star shards as well
