Would love if there could be some transparency and honesty with regards to so called “input issues”. I think the players deserve that! Just like we deserve to have the drop rates on crystals clearly stated and displayed.
When it comes to gameplay issues I hate that we throw that word issues around so freely…implying that it is accidental, unintended or glitches in coding etc. is this true??? Or has the word issues become a blanket statement to cover not only legitimate glitches and bugs but purposeful and intentional changes to cause the fights to be more challenging. There is no question that speed of attack increases with certain content as the level increases. Eg throne breaker Absorbing man’s sp1 speed compared to uncollected. Huge difference
But this in itself is fine to me. The difficulty should increase with higher levels but the whole key is it’s CONSISTENT . So once you learn to compensate for the increased speed in the fight you can have a fair shot at using skill and reflexes to win. Example as an old school video game guy. Some old Nintendo games were just insane for difficulty… like insane. Whole screen full of bullets with one little tiny pocket of safety insane. Ninja gaiden end boss comes to mind haha …but it was “consistently” insane so you learn it. You could develop the skills and man oh man was it ever a sense of accomplishment when you beat it.
What truly bothers me is when these things change midfight. Like punishing a defenders special attack hundreds of times without issue then all if a sudden they recover so fast, dex and ko punch you in the face. Is this a “gameplay issue” ?? Or is it by design?? If it is by design that’s your right as game designers to make your game as hard or easy as you want but could we please get honest clarification on things like that. Another example… fighting someone like Mr sinister or doc strange. You dex there special ones consistently over and over then suddenly the timing changes mid fight and you get nailed. It comes in slower or faster. If this is intentional and part of the mechanics?… again I believe that is fine BUT you need to state that clearly somewhere.
Sometimes fighting defenders now they go so insanely sporadic that it looks like they’re having some kind of a seizure almost giving me a seizure making predicting an incoming attack almost impossible. Crazy stuttering actions and so often somehow lagging that split second before attack which cause your parry to fail. Is this intentional or a gameplay issue??
I could go on and on with other examples but the forum is flooded with then so there’s no point.
The point of this post is not to complain but asking please for some straight forward honest answers. As I stated you are free to change your game however you want but when people are spending a lot of money on this then shouldn’t you be transparent about these changes and types of things. Was not that the reason in compliance with local laws that crystal drop rates are clearly displayed? Because people are spending money. We deserve to know the clearly defined risks of spending money/units on revives to fight an opponent.
That’s my two cents. Peace
