Wrong AW Season 40 Start Date

Kabam, you said the new season starts on Wednesday, February 17th, that's not right. The 17th is a Friday

Post was actually doubly-wrong.
Feb 2 was a Thursday.
And then error got worse by saying 17th (which is not 14 days after, and is a Friday).

They will be the normal Wed. and Wed. (assuming no unforeseen problems)

Why the change in how AW starting is being referenced now as THURS, instead of WED. ?
Or are you in an Eastern Europe, Asia, or further east, timezone ? Which for those I guess would technically be the next “day” already at that time. (and you don’t actually work out of Kabam's Canadian office ?)

And to follow up on something that has lasted ever since the past Fall's Daylight Savings change…
I thought AW *always* used to have a Matchmaking window of 6pm-10pm US-EST, and so an Attack Start/End time that would correspond to 4 hours prior so within the window of 2pm-6pm US-EST.
This time was the same *clock* time (for those regions, like most, in the northern hemisphere, that observer a 1 hour DST change, no matter if it was during the summer or the winter).

After the last DST change in the Fall (November), that got changed to 1 hour earlier (5pm-9pm US-EST Matchmaking Window).

Within a week or 2 back then, either you (Jax) or Miike had said it was being fixed.
But it wasn’t, and has stayed that 1 hour earlier thru these past couple War Seasons.

Has the game officially changed to having this window be UTC-based now (meaning, tied to a non-DST timeframe). Or in other words, Yes, we will see a 1 hour Starting Time *clock* movement from now on twice a year as our local times change for DST in the future.
ie Matchmaking 5-9pm US-EST during Winter (2-6pm US-Pacific and Kabam office location time)
and Matchmaking 6-10pm US-EST during Summer (3-7pm US-Pacific and Kabam office location time)
