Rintrah signature bugged ?

I fought Rintrah with Spider 2099

Even though Spider 2099 is buff immune, Rintrah kept gaining a power gain buff each time Spider was immune to a buff while having a neutralize.

How neutralize can failed a buff that cannot even exist in the first place ?

    some stupid coding thing where the neutralize happens before the immunity so the immunity never triggers because the neutralize makes it fail first

    Order of operations. Neutralize reduces buff AA by 100%. When a buff would trigger, neutralize prevents that from happening in the first place, so Spidey's buff immunity doesn't trigger and Rintrah gains power. It makes sense that it works that way, but it's still stupid that buff immune characters can get punished for it.

    On the flipside, now that Spidey Supreme is more widely available, he has a synergy with Overseer that makes the latter immune to neutralize.
