Any paradox nodes. Thank God we seem to be passed that.
Why was the paradox hated so much? I rather enjoyed them ... the weapon nodes in act 8 are good but I thought they was too easy, kind of like the EQ class boosting nodes
I didn’t enjoy the buffed based ones because of dex counting as two buffs, but otherwise I agree that I don’t understand the hate. It added a unique mechanic in the game that rewarded skill and attention. I can’t imagine how much easier it would feel to me now with the number being 12 instead 9. I also agree that the weapon mechanic is too easy and to me it made 8.1 feel easier than much of Act 7.
I got through act 7 and thought I'd have a hard time with ch 1 of act 8 but it was probably the most fun content I've done in a while....with Amazing rewards to boot. I'm sure act 8 will get much harder going forward tho

I can't tell you how annoying it is to miss out on guaranteed crits and such because of a mechanic that literally has no counter. This is especially true for Ant-Man under a Size Matters node and the one where glancing deals damage back to you, since no matter your size you are still going to glance and thus take damage.

Squalor I think it was called, the one where you can't have zero power or you'll be damaged especially combined with Languor where distance plays a part in power gained. I think it was a set-up for one of last month's side quests
Mesmerize . fkers evaded like it is 70% while the node said 7 **** percent and full combo me into oblivion during that stun . Most stupid node design ever
honorable mentions : 300% power gain in tech variant ( path that have like strange , havok ,... which i have no idea how i was able to do it with 4 star ghost back in the days) , freezer burn , do not go gentle , thermostat and a million more
Whatever node that Squirrel Girl has in TL5 of Date Game. Fury - Unstoppable - Unblockable is no fun, once you are in your corner, say goodbye to your one shot attempt. Then Falter, I will not Miss that if it is gone tomorrow.

Doom makes that fight almost comically easy. To the point I forgot to actually maintain the neutralise and accidentally gave her unblockable and unstoppable so had to dance around while they dropped off

Do 90-95% of the fight with a Mystic, then die or quit, and finish it with a Science to grab the objective.
Do the "finish in one go" objective on another run, with a mystic.

Do the "finish in one go" objective on another run, with a mystic.
That is exactly what I did with Threat Level 4 and 5, but in my opinion it does feel that it was against the spirit of the game, both in term of the objectives and how I (and a lot of players) have completed it.
The idea of the game have always been creating a challenges and players test their skill & roster to over and completed that challenge, and yes, we usually get amazing players that come up with wondering, out of the box idea to do the challenges. However intentional KOed yourself at the last 5-1% and then switch to finish the fighr doesn't feel like good designed content for me.
As for the Node, if you noticed I did said it is doable this time round.
However what if next time Kabam design team, decided to use the 1st Node (that give Fury, Unstoppable and Unblockable), but does not pair it up with something manageable like the 2nd Node (apply Neutralizer with Mystic), what if that counter Node required a very specific champs that we don't have, can you imagine how much of a nightmare the 1st Node would be?
Mix master and lifecycle are two of my least favorite nodes although I've gotten a lot better at lifecycle after completing act 6 I still avoid any path that has mixmaster on it as I'm terrible at it.
