War - Wrong nodes for the tier

Our alliance is fighting in Tier 6, for todays war, but this war we have bans / global nodes like we’re in a Tier 5 war. Has anyone else seen this?

    Nope, you have to play up to whoever is the highest level. This practice is probably in effect because if a tier 1 alliance matched with a tier 3, they would destroy the tier 3 alliance if they were playing on a tier 3 map. (Granted the tier 3 alliance will probably be destroyed anyways, but you never know)
