Most cases I go parry, dex is too unpredictable for me at the start of the fight as first input, seems to always mess me up

It's both dex or parry. A.I is unpredictable sometimes and you just can't chance it. Especially in a boss fight.

More often than not I do what I chose but in the likes of war or BGs I do not incase I get parried and combo'd to the face 😂😂

I always used to light attack, but with the AI/input issues... I tend to just Parry to be safe.

Most times parry, but under certain circumstances will do other things.

Awakened Ghost: Miss then retaliate
Hood w/ Ghost synergy: Start combo
Quake: Start fight holding heavy
Quake vs Bishop: Dex then heavy

A few other exceptions that I can't think of at the moment.

Aw: dex
Aq: parry or dex
EQ: light attack

All modes: get punched in teh face as inputs don't work

If the defender have parry on (bg , aw , special nodes...) , i started with parry . Otherwise , light attack started is my instinct

solo quests, like EQ, story incursions etc, always start with attack with a light combo start, in ally and BG based, dex or parry cause if you attack , you have chance to get parried to oblivion.
