Herc is a big part of the problem but not the only one
Main issue ain’t Herc, main issue is BS content. Players are using the most effective tool they have to deal with this content. Anyone who has done a full EOP run without Hercules will understand that. Content is definitely designed over revive spamming. Look at enrage timers at Labyrinth and Abyss and give any other reasonable explanation, other that they had been put there in order to make players spam revives. Look at the attack values in endgame content which make you die from even blocking, let alone eating a combo or special. Kabam needs to be more creative with their endgame content, in order for it to be difficult, not just raise insanely attack values and putting KO timers.
The more I think on this concept the more I change. Yesterday I was ok with a small nerf, maybe his immortality buff looses its pause type idea, but really why? The problem isn’t Herc, it is the immortality mechanics, and like any mechanism in this game it just needs a countering mechanism to balance it and plenty of things make it fail. So today I wake up with a clearer head and say the concept of deleting Herc is a terrible idea, down right dangerous too because where does it stop?
Instead the game designers can simply create a node that fails immortality for any other champ that comes along with this mechanism, it’s safer and smarter for the long run. You want to nerf Kitty? Permanent cowardace debuff node, done.
A lot if these broke champs have an Achilles Heel that can easily “turn off” what makes them broken. Just like brute force can make Quaje impractical. So I implore more creative thinking.
Also if you don't run suicides, then 20% health is more than enough health for a lot of fights in a lot of content. In my EoP runs I commonly would just use a 20% revive because 1 mistake at 60% health would still be enough to kill me.
This is actually the heart and soul of why we HAVE to play this way. Content is exceptionally unforgiving. EoP terrax hits for 15k+ non crit and 3k into the block. Heals are useless in game where any damage is fatal.
Why not make the Immortality Buff a Persistent Charge, for champions that have that sort of thing? Nick Fury has a single LMD so there's already a precedent.
Herc definitely isn't the issue. The content is. His immortality is easily countered, just like any other champion. After Herc, who's next?
However, we have these little timers and unavoidable damage with bs AI and broken inputs that are the issue. They are just trying to squeeze people for all the company's other design (and other game) failures. PacMan didn't just die because he didn't eat a ghost every 6 seconds. Johnny cage didn't die from not pulling off a nut shot every 6 seconds while the AI cheesed.

Exactly this. Kabam recently released a champion that targets Immortality and Indestructible. So it is clearly on Kabam's radar, and shows that there are methods to reduce Herc's effectiveness without needing to outright ban/delete that champion.
The Nerf revive is a joke parry and dexterity have been broke for two years. How many revives have people had to use because of their broken game they say they can’t fix it so they will not allow us away to at least farm revives because of their games issues. Just think about how many revives they say are farmed. It Hass to be five times as many revives being used as that because of input issues

We don't want no Hercules.
Down with the mighty Hercules. Bring in Newton in Hercules' place.

Plus the controls worked.
