A few things happened today.
1/ Saw a post by a new Thronebreaker asking about R4 a champ.
Wow ... that roster was stacked with OP champs.
2/ I hit 20k units. 🥳
My MVP for the Grandmaster fight was Unitman.
Now Unitman had grown much stronger.
3/ Some adrenaline push and I have completed 4 chapters of Act 7.
Wondering why I am dying fighting Electro Luke; ahhhhh ... Electro.
I always field Namor when I see Electro. So, he goes to rank 5.
Current roster.
6-Star 6 rank 3s.
5-Star 16 rank 5s (including Namor which was just max rank).

Act 7.1 was released approximately 2½ years ago. Was it already in the planning way back then relic was coming?
Round 1 - Nodes; Flare
Should have used special 1 instead of waiting for special 2.
Round 2 -
Struggled with Emma Frost and kept getting clipped by Green Goblin's special 2.
Round 3 - Nodes; Blaze
Burned a few revives.
Round 4 - Nodes; Lazarus (Boss)
This fight was terrible. Hela almost went back to full health. Thought I was fighting Nick Fury.

BTW - kudos for getting 20k units, but you totally don't need it. Everything in act 7 was much easier than the GM fight tbh.

Act 7 Chapter 2 was a very very long read. I would be delighted with a little bit more storyline included. Completion of this chapter gives another chance for a RNG emotional roller coaster.
Round 1 - Nodes; Bullet Time
Brought on Venom to deal with Spider-Gwen.
Round 2 - Nodes; Special Burst Lock Down -1, Life Transfer
I should have played this when I have a clearer mind. On starting did not realise need to wait 5s before throwing specials and then when I knew it, I kept forgetting.
On the 3 fight (before starting), I was thinking whether I need to quit when I realised Miles goes missing with Attacker's special. Ouch. I starred at the screen for a long time. I had Nick Fury (the real one
BPCW took more revives but surprisingly I managed to one-shot Medusa with BWCV.
Took Hyperion to rank 5 to deal with Magneto (HoX).
I think my quest is coming to an end real soon. Revives and Potions are drying up and I have tons of Small Energy Refill.
Meanwhile a foray into Battlegrounds took me to 1 win to another promotion.
I don’t like seeing Kingpin … hope my stash is sufficient to clear one more round.
1/ Champ counter
2/ Skill (not just parry and hit)
3/ Reading comprehension to utilise 2/ and 1/.
3½/ Some times can call on Unitman, but there are instances when it fails spectacularly.
Round 3 - Nodes, Stacking Power, Special Delivery
This round is basically, do you know how to dex? Quake and DD(HK) did lots of damage.
Round 4 - Nodes, clear MVC was Dragon-man. Heavy, MLLLM, Heavy, MLLLM, Heavy, special 2.
If only every round was similar.
Round 5 - So, Platinumpool awaits. I have Nimrod, the mutant killer + a Sentinel backup with heal-block and incinerate on block with 100 analysis charges. When I don't know or don't understand how to read ...
So, all 4 hourly crystals are depleted and Platpool is back a full health. Exit fight till another time ...

With a 152 small energy refill in overflow, I should be spending lots of time here.
If I ask question, usually it can only be champ counter which is subject to RNG.
But once in a while, I do get good advise on how to fight a certain champ and the nodes. That is golden.
Now, I have Mole Man, why is the fight still so difficult?
