Champs with gardians synergy

Can someone explain this objective please, do I need to be fighting with a champ that has a synergy with someone from the group or can my champ be a synergy for one of the group?
For example: agent venom is tagged as guardian and also has a synergy with venom so why does me fighting with venom not count towards the objective as it states the word 'shares' so I'm assuming that would mean a synergy either way right?

I just filter with the Guardians of the Galaxy tag and run the Apothecary on autofight. Has been working fine.

Also could someone provide a list of champs that do work with this except the obvious gaurdians of the galaxy characters..

Yeah I understand that any guardians would work for this obviously, but the objective states she word 'shares' so I'm assuming a synergy either way would work.. just want clarification that's all

When you used venom, did you also have agent venom on your team? You might need the synergy active for it to work.

For me I've just been autofighting RTTL with Nebula and a full guardians team.

Ahh I didnt think of that, I'll give it a try see if it does anything, and yeah to get it done ill probably just do apoth with the guardian champs just thought I'd be able to get two birds one stone with my 7* venom that I use in most side questing

I've just realised they have a synergy going both ways so it doesn't even matter.. venom should grant points in this objective @kabam please look into this issue..

Theres an info graphic around the forums somewhere with all the champs you can use for the event. I just can't remember what thread.

Just use scorpion kingpin and kitty and autofight the TL1 in the event quest

I've just tried it with agent venom in the team aswell and he has gained no points in the previous 2 fights when it clearly states agent venom is tagged a guardian, and there is a synergy going both way so this is clearly a bug or I am missing something really obvious?..

See venom is on there but not registering points for some reason?

Ohh never mind guys I'm an idiot lol, objective doesn't reward points for using 7*s🤦🏻 kabam needs to add 7* points if they have champs in the 7 star pool that are viable..
