event timer

I swear the timer was updated. It said 1 day and 15 hours about 12 hours ago, and now it only says 3 hours. I had planned my exploration of the EQ for this timer, and this is quite upsetting. What happened?
posting here as well to see if anyone knows what's going on

    The Eq starts at the same day and time like always

    If you were in the middle of the quest when you checked the timer, then it adds extra time to it so you can at least complete the quest, but then it'd disappear anyways if you beat it after Maple Syrup Standard time today.
