BG Draft vs Defense Placement

Currently whom ever drafts first in Battlegrounds also has to place a defender first, which is disadvantageous on both counts… so why not split it up? Make the person that gets the final draft selection have to place a defender first (and third if the match goes that far).

Better yet, have both players do their selections AT THE SAME TIME.

Both people select their Defender at same time. Then both are shown, and both then select their Attacker at same time.

This would resolve the advantage one has over the other based on coin toss of who used to go first.
And would actually cut down on the amount of time taken during selections (you don’t have to sit there doing nothing while it is the other person's selection turn).

I wouldn’t be upset if Kabam went with this idea.

Anyone else have any ideas? Seems to be a major pain point.
